My neighborhood is one giant loop with a few offshoot streets. If I walk the whole loop, I will trudge 2.5 miles of hilly road. It takes me about forty-five minutes, which is a great time for me to catch up on podcasts.
I know many of you would choose to listen to music or take the time to be unplugged, but I love killing two birds with one stone—also, is this not a terrible phrase? How about “baking two pies in one pan” or “planting two flowers in one hole?”
Finding podcasts worth my time is the hard part. I spent the last week trying out a few new (to me) podcasts and decided to share what I found. I listen on Spotify, but most should be available on multiple listening apps. This content is subjective and you should find what works and is helpful for you. Trial and error, baby.
*I’d like to note that I deliberately looked for on-topic podcasts by diverse people. It’s harder than you might think. If you know of any, please leave them in the comments.
