Writers buy notebooks. It’s what we do. And pens. Journals, sometimes. Or fancy folders for each story idea. I wish I were the writer who is also organized, but I’m not. Tell me I’m not alone (please). There are napkins, slips of paper, torn pages, and Post Its (falling off the wall and behind my desk) with character notes, timeline reminders, plot fixes, and more on them. Important stuff!
Enough.
My latest book is out for querying and I needed a distraction. I decided to fix my unorganized writing habits and came up with the WRITE WORK Workbook. You may have seen me post about it on Instagram and Threads. It’s an 8.5” x11” paperback workbook with multiple pages for character details and notes, setting plans and maps, story outlines, arc graphs, questions to inspire your writing, areas for editorial notes and writing resources, and marketing strategy pages. Sounds like a lot, but it’s basic in approach because I want writers to have the flexibility to make the workbook work for them.
It’s $10 on Amazon. I designed the pages myself and created the cover. More cover colors are coming—I think, depending on how this goes. It’s simple, affordable, and looks good on a shelf. If you buy one, I’d love your feedback, privately and an honest review helps.
I’ve received support and made friends through the writing community and wanted to give back in a productive way. I hope this workbook proves to be helpful to you and your writing journey! No matter where you are let’s start where all great stories begin: with a good idea and the WRITE WORK.
Don’t forget to reach out and let me know what you’re working on, how it’s going, and what’s next.
